Blue Chalcedony necklace is hand made using 99.9% pure American made copper. The pendant features an AAA+ natural blue Chalcedony stone wrapped to resemble a blue dress..  Copper has been patinated to show detail, then polished and the entire piece coated to enhance shine, prevent tarnish and protect your clothing. Includes 18″ brown vegan leather cord and can accept most other cords and chains.

About Chalcedony

Chalcedony is a translucent gemstone that comes in many colors.  Chalcedony was used for cameo carvings of Gods of water and air. In the middle east it was used for knives, seals, and jewelry. The first recorded record of Chalcedony was in Istanbul Province, Turkey. It is now also found in Brazil, India, Madagascar, Malawi, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Uruguay and California.

Care of Chalcedony

Chalcedony is very durable and can be cleaned using a soft cloth and warm water.  Chalcedony is porous so avoid chemicals while wearing.  As with most gemstones, ultrasonic cleaners and steamers are not recommended.
