About Chalcedony
Chalcedony is a translucent gemstone that comes in many colors. Chalcedony was used for cameo carvings of Gods of water and air. In the middle east it was used for knives, seals, and jewelry. The first recorded record of Chalcedony was in Istanbul Province, Turkey. It is now also found in Brazil, India, Madagascar, Malawi, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Uruguay and California.
