Amazonite Copper necklace is hand made using 99.9% pure American made copper. The pendant features a natural Amazonite stone and three faceted 3mm Amazonite beads. Copper has been patinated and polished to show detail, then the entire piece coated to enhance shine, prevent tarnish and protect your clothing. Includes faceted American made cut-to-size 18" real copper ball chain and a bonus 17.5" brown vegan leather cord.

Amazonite is named after the Amazon River even though it is not actually found in the River. It is assumed it is name after the lush green tropical forest the Amazon River flows through.
Amazonian Tribe women warriors were thought to have adorned their shields with it around 10th century B.C. Ancient Egyptians favorited it and King Tutankhamuns tomb had Amazonite inlays in it. Amazonite has been thought to attract hope and faith.

Care of AMAZONITE
Amazonite is sensitive to chemicals, abrasives, heat, acids and ammonia. Never use a steamer, hot water or ultrasonic cleaners with this gemstone. Use mild soap and room temperature tap water with a soft cloth to retain the luster of the gemstone. Store in a soft case away from hard objects to avoid being scratched.
