About Green Aventurine pendant
Aventurine is a form of quartz that can be identified by color and the presence of 'aventurescence'. Aventurescence is a shimmer caused by mineral inclusions. The level of intensity depends on the density and size of metallic inclusions. Chrome-bearing fuchsite is the classic inclusion and gives a silvery green or blue sheen.
The most common color of Aventurine is green but it can also be found in orange, yellow, brown, blue, or grey. Aventurine can be found in many locations around the world including Brazil, Chile, India, Austria, Russia and Tanzania.
