About BLUE OPAL

Blue Opal resembles the Caribbean blue sea. This soothing light blue colored stone is translucent to opaque in appearance. It is mostly found in the Andes Mountains in Peru, Canada, and Oregon in the United States.

Blue Opal has a plethora of historical background. In Greek mythology blue opal was formed from the joyful tears of Zesus after defeating the Titans.
