With a Mohs hardness of 6.5 to 7, Kunzite is durable enough for jewelry but requires care to avoid scratches. Store in a soft case away from hard objects to prevent scratches.

It is not recommended to wear jewelry while swimming, showering, or in a sauna as the chlorine is not good for the metal or stones.

Avoid wearing while using chemicals such as household cleaners.
