Smithsonite Copper Necklace features all natural Smithsonite, Quartz, and Moonstone gemstones. The gemstones are wrapped in 99.9% pure American made copper. Bare copper patinaed and polished to show detail then coated to prevent tarnish and enhance shine. Includes a 30" cut to preferred size, American made real copper ball chain. Pendant will accept other cords as well. Gift box and shipping included.

Smithsonite is named after the English mineralogist James Smithson, who first identified the crystal in 1802. James Smithson was also the founding donor of the Smithsonian Institution.
Smithsonite comes in many colors, the translucent blue, green, and yellows being the most sought after.

Care of SMITHSONITE
Smithsonite is a softer stone and can be cleaned using a soft cloth and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.. As with most gemstones, ultrasonic cleaners and steamers are not recommended. Store in a soft case away from hard objects to prevent scratches.
